Fliss is...

A wanna-be tough kid who wears jeans and a backwards hat with her camp uniform. Usually seen with her trademark lollipop in her mouth, Fliss hangs out with troublemakers Eve and Nepeta, though she clearly has an interest in dancing that she shares with Tessa. Much of the camp suspects she has a very feminine side, but she overcompensates by being kind of a jerk sometimes. Counselor D predicted that, despite her difficult nature in childhood, Fliss would grow up to be a very kind and gentle young woman - though many of the other campers are still dubious of that claim.

Biography[]

Fliss has an older brother who used to attend Camp Discourse, and her parents sent her to camp in order to keep her out of trouble over the summer. Having just completed the fifth grade, Fliss is 10 years old and will turn 11 when she enters the 6th grade between the end of the third season and the movie. She struggles with performing magic, but she can be a very kind friend to those whom she trusts.

Behind the scenes[]

Fliss is based more on writer Felicity Pickens's daughter than she is based upon the writer who shares her namesake. "The backwards hat thing, though? That's totally mine," she told fans at Gencon Indy in 2003.
